2023: The year of our two decades of trust
60 articles where we tell about events in our studio, introduce you to some of the most inspiring names in photography and video in Bulgaria, or provide you with training and shared experience – this is the numerical summary for the year on Dynaphos' blog - the place where we gift you content. We also added at least 30 more articles with information about new products from various brands of photo, video, and broadcast equipment, to keep you on the crest of the trend in your work or hobby.

Most of the events at our studio this year were held under the sign of light and the importance of knowing how to use it.
We covered the organization and hosting of more than 15 events
In January, Olya Babitskaya from Belarus demonstrated how to achieve food levitation in front of her lens; in February, Nikolay Pandev skillfully used various lighting schemes to show high mastery in product photography; in March, Milena Gigova revealed the role of light in achieving a fairy-tale effect in children's photos.
In May, Vihar Laskov-Vihro convinced us how sharp and soft light make a portrait of the same model look different. Dilyana Gergova brought true five-hour joy in June with her demonstration of how to paint with colored light; in September, Georgi Todorov froze movements to convince the audience that light is more important than camera equipment.
In October, Deyan Yordanov brought a scooter into our studio to show techniques where the main character – light – helps the photographer achieve volumetricity when photographing models on wheels; in November, Ivelin Iliev presented his experience with flashes in wedding photography and proved to be a true virtuoso in doing so with a couple who met minutes before the session, and in December, Plamen Gavrilov transformed light into a backdrop for his photos with his whimsical perspectives, where proportions are not what they actually are.

We created word portraits of 13 photographers and videographers
We told the story of most of those who delighted us with their events, also in our "Photographers" section, supplementing it with portraits of Vasil Karkelanov, Daniela Lambova, and Minko Mihaylov. We promise new encounters in the new year :)
In our studios, we met you with inspiring stories
But back to the old ones: a podcast started from Dynaphos' small studio, and in the autumn, our large F2 studio opened its doors completely renovated and re-equipped, ready to host your events. Before that, Ivo Danchev presented his photo story "Phantoms" about the Kukeri and depopulated mountain villages in the Rhodopes; two months later, Ivan Miladinov and Veliko Karachiviev told with photos and video about their adventure in the Himalayas. In November, Ivaylo Donchev presented his path as the first licensed Red Bull photographer in Bulgaria; in the coldest days of that month, Minko Mihaylov took us on a journey to India, hot in both climate and passions, and Nikolay Kolev shared his colorful stories from his last wedding season.

We also went beyond the showroom
But Dynaphos did not stay only in the studio and showroom, but went beyond them. Our team followed and filmed pilot Nikolay Kalaydjiev's flight for a Guinness record with five cameras - two from the ground and three in the plane, and we broadcast live footage from his takeoff almost until landing on our special Facebook event page. We presented a wide range of our products at several events, including the International Forum of Professional Photographers and Videographers in the "St. St. Konstantin and Elena" resort and MadePro Conference in Pomorie.

We printed with you and trained you
We invited you several times to print with us for free. We also made sure to be useful with training videos, starting the Dynaphos Light Class series: 01, 02 and 03. In "Shoot with Us," we presented Georgi Nedelchev's video lesson on what lighting to choose and how to position it to achieve an effective product shot on a black background. With a review of the new Saramonic BlinkMe B2 wireless microphone kit, audio expert Nikolay Nikolov from the Electronic Box video channel visited us.

Our equipment traveled the world
Our equipment proved its qualities on journeys across 3 continents – across Namibia and Norway with Martin Grahovski and all the way to Antarctica with Elenko Kasaliyski.
We also stood behind meaningful causes
We also supported good causes. The pilot Nikolay Kalaydjiev, whose world record has already been mentioned. The organizers of the "48 Hours Varusha South" festival in Veliko Tarnovo - to capture its most inspiring moments in photos and videos. For the young hope in our athletics, Lilyana Georgieva, to receive her first professional photo shoot for a calendar to encourage her for a flying start in 2024.
We celebrated 20 years of Dynaphos
And if we choose the metaphor of "running laps on the track" precisely because Dynaphos creator Hristo Kabadayev himself uses it to mark his personal birthdays, inviting his friends to run with him as many laps as he is old, we will summarize the outgoing year as follows: on the track of the commercial business, 20 laps for Dynaphos mean only one thing - trust. We celebrated it with partners and friends.

And so: none of this would have happened without everyone working at Dynaphos, and without Dilyana Gergova. And after so many events, at the end of the year, we congratulate her on her most responsible personal event - the birth of her daughter.

That's how rich 2023 was for the Dynaphos blog. You can follow highlights from it in the video "2023 in frame with Dynaphos" on our YouTube channel. Our wishes for 2024
We are already preparing for new challenges without losing our sense of humor. We wish you health and at least as many reasons to toast in 2024 as your age. We look forward to seeing you both online and in person! And thank you!
