NANLITE Expands PavoSlim LED Panel Range with Larger 240B/240C and Extended 60CL Variants

The exceptionally thin, lightweight, and robust next-generation PavoSlim LED panels have proven incredibly popular with gaffers, cinematographers, and creatives worldwide. Today, NANLITE introduces three innovative new models in two different sizes. The bi-color PavoSlim 240B and 240C RGBWW are 2'x2' foldable LED panels with incredible power, while the PavoSlim 60CL with RGBWW is an extended 2' x 0.5' panel, useful for tighter spaces. They boast extremely accurate color rendering and class-leading light output, joining the existing PavoSlim 2'x1' and 1'x1' variants to form a complete family of super-portable lights that can be set up in an instant and operate on AC or battery power.

All PavoSlims come with a softbox and grid. The PavoSlim 60CL comes with a unique quick-erect softbox that can be folded in seconds and stored on the panel for transport.

The PavoSlim 240B and 240C come with a foldable softbox for easy setup and takedown.

PavoSlim 240B/240C

Sometimes you need a large source of soft light, and the PavoSlim 240B and 240C provide just that. Importantly, both panels feature a convenient hinged folding design for portability and quick installation, offering an exciting new option for higher power and illuminating larger areas. They are remarkably thin, with the panels measuring only 2.86 cm when unfolded. The maximum output is a massive 22,990 lux@1m (without modifier, 5600K) for the PavoSlim 240B and 24,970 lux@1m (without modifier, 5600K) for the PavoSlim 240C, all at a nominal input power of just 260 W.

The PavoSlim 240B/240C can be powered by AC, DC, and V-mount batteries, with all power methods supporting full output. The kit comes standard with a 5-meter DC connection cable.

PavoSlim 240C features NANLITE's advanced RGBWW color mixing technology, providing a CCT range of 2700K-7500K with a G/M adjustment of ±150. The average CRI is 96, and the average TLCI is 97. In HSI mode, hue, saturation, and light intensity can be quickly adjusted with a choice of 36,000 colors. In RGBW mode, it offers control over four separate channels: red, green, blue, and white, allowing for greater color precision. Conveniently, it also has 151 built-in color gel emulations that can be used to match scenes or add atmosphere, eliminating the need to install physical gels. It is also equipped with 15 different film and TV lighting effects that can be customized via the control unit or remotely.

PavoSlim 240B is a bi-color LED panel with a CCT range of 2700K-6500K, with an average CRI of 95 and an average TLCI of 97. It is equipped with 12 effects that simulate lighting effects of real scenes.

Thanks to these features, the PavoSlim 240B and 240C are ideal for interviews, small and medium-sized studios, and demanding film and television productions.

PavoSlim 60CL

The 2' x 0.5' dimensions of the PavoSlim 60CL, along with its separate control unit with built-in power supply, make it particularly suitable for car shoots, confined spaces, and low ceilings. The utility of the LED panel is further enhanced by its extremely light weight, making it possible to mount it almost anywhere or hold it by hand on set for extended periods if needed.

Like the PavoSlim 240C, the 60CL features HSI, RGBW, 151 built-in color gel emulations, and 15 different film and television lighting effects. Crucially, it also has a green/magenta (G/M) adjustment function for accurate matching with other light sources.

With a high maximum output of 7094 lux@1m (without modifier, 5600K), the PavoSlim 60CL has approximately the same power as the 1' x 1' PavoSlim 60C, offering the user a choice of different form factors. In combination with the included softbox, the PavoSlim 60CL creates a powerful soft source that can beautifully illuminate your subject.

PavoSlim 60CL can be powered by AC, V-mount batteries, or NP-F batteries. All power methods support full output, making the PavoSlim 60CL suitable for both indoor and outdoor scenarios. The kit comes standard with a 2.6-meter DC connection cable.

The PavoSlim Advantage

Each PavoSlim panel is ideal for location use, on set, and in photo studios. The thin panels with a metal casing are a sturdy alternative to more fragile flexible panels, while being much more powerful and efficient. Its clever design places an optical lens in front of each LED to achieve maximum efficiency. This results in about four times higher output compared to most equivalent-sized flexible panels, with the metal chassis used for effective heat dissipation without the need for fans.

Each PavoSlim consists of a panel and an accompanying control unit that offers physical and remote controls, as well as multiple power options. The control unit is designed to be mounted via a quick-release plate to the included lighting clamp for attachment to tripods or trusses.

PavoSlim 60CL comes with a 2.6-meter DC power cable, which can be extended with another 2.6-meter connection cable if needed. The PavoSlim 240B and 240C come with a longer 5m DC cable.

Setting up any PavoSlim LED is extremely quick. The panel's low weight allows it to be mounted on a lighter tripod, while the control unit is secured to the tripod for greater stability (a sturdy clamp is included in every PavoSlim 60CL and 240C kit).

Control the light your way

All PavoSlim LED panels can be controlled via the control unit, wired DMX/RDM, using a NANLITE remote control, or with the Nanlink APP. Additionally, the PavoSlim 60CL, 60C, 120C, and 240C can also be controlled using LumenRadio CRMX.

Included Carry Bag

All PavoSlim panels come with a NANLITE carry bag. They are thoughtfully designed with a slim profile and solid structure with external reinforced stitching for greater durability. Each bag has logically arranged internal compartments for quick and convenient storage.
