Nanlite Introduces Forza 60CR RGBLAC Light with Built-in CRMX

Building on the strengths of the Forza 60C, Nanlite introduces the new Forza 60CR. It has all the advantages of the Forza 60C, but with the important addition of built-in LumenRadio CRMX for professional wireless control from lighting consoles and high-end control applications. The size and form factor of the Forza 60CR remain the same as the Forza 60C.

The first Nanlite Forza 60C, with its RGBLAC six-color LED mixing system, quickly became a small light for gaffers, DPs, and creators worldwide. This is due to its small size combined with exceptional performance in spectrum, color gamut, and color rendering.

Full Spectrum, Full Control

Forza 60CR is designed with the user in mind. Color controls and all other settings can be accessed in several ways: via the intuitive on-board interface, the Nanlink app, DMX/RDM, and now with the Forza 60CR via LumenRadio CRMX.

LumenRadio's CRMX is known for its high reliability, making it an established standard in the lighting industry. It offers a reliable, high-performance communication option for wireless lighting control. Compact Power

The Forza 60CR redefines what a professional 60W LED light can do in film and photography production.

Its body weighs only 1.16 kg and provides a high illumination level of 12810 lux at 1m with a reflector mounted. The classic compact design is elegant and intuitive to operate, both at home and in the studio and on location. The addition of the battery grip makes it convenient for dynamic scenes.

Beyond Limits - The RGBLAC Six-Color Mixing System

Forza 60CR utilizes Nanlite's advanced RGBLAC six-color mixing technology to achieve a full spectrum and wider color space, with higher accuracy and greater color saturation. By integrating additional Lime, Amber, and Cyan LED chips alongside the RGB chips, it builds a much fuller light spectrum compared to traditional RGBWW luminaires.

Saturation is significantly enhanced for colors other than RGB in HSI mode, giving the Forza 60CR an advantage in color rendering over other existing RGB, RGBW, and RGBWW devices. Fine color reproduction with lower saturation can be easily achieved.

The development of the RGBLAC system was achieved by overcoming numerous technical difficulties. The distribution of light sources has been optimized, and the structural design has been adjusted to avoid uneven illumination in real-world use. The power of each LED element is scientifically calibrated to provide a constant 60 W output across all colors. With Forza 60CR and RGBLAC, the disparity in illumination between different colors is now a thing of the past.

The RGBLAC system also offers full control over CCT with Green/Magenta adjustment capability to match other light fixtures. Faces can be illuminated with precision, with the ability to instantly add subtle or vivid color. Users can bring texture to a scene by quickly focusing colored light on specific areas.

Ultra-wide CCT, adjustable DUV

This innovative technology now allows precise green/magenta adjustments based on actual △UV. Thanks to the inclusion of Amber in the light source, this exceptional accuracy is possible. Coordinates always move perpendicular to the isotherm of the Planckian locus when adjusted.

Multiple Color Modes

The Forza 60CR features a hardware and software platform specifically designed for use with RGBLAC light sources. Users can experience a new level of color image control with desired values easily selected for enhanced flexibility. There are professional options for HSI, RGBW, as well as XY coordinates for color calibration.

HSI Mode

Hue, saturation, and intensity are easily adjustable, with enhanced gain for saturation beyond RGB colors. Available via built-in, Nanlink app, DMX/RDM, and LumenRadio CRMX control.

RGBW Mode

This offers control over four separate channels: red, green, blue, and white, allowing for greater color accuracy. Available via the Nanlink app, DMX/RDM, LumenRadio CRMX control.

XY Coordinates

The desired color can be precisely set by entering XY coordinates directly within the color gamut in the CIE1931 color space. Available via the Nanlink app, DMX/RDM, LumenRadio CRMX control.

Customizable Light Effects

Forza 60CR is equipped with 15 light effects, with fully adjustable parameters for each effect.

FM Mount Ecosystem

The Forza 60CR uses the same highly popular FM-mount as the Forza 60C. Compatible with all FM system modifiers, light shaping possibilities are further expanded with the included adapter to Bowens, integrating it into the wider ecosystem of Bowens modifiers for even more creative options.

Power and Color, Anywhere

The Forza 60CR is ideal for both studio and dynamic productions. It can also be used with the included V-mount battery grip, operating at 100% brightness with a 14.8 V battery for about two hours. Additionally, it comes with a power adapter for connection to the mains.

Control together with other fixtures is possible via DMX/RDM. The light fixture's USB port supplies power for a wireless DMX receiver.

LumenRadio CRMX

Less Noise, Less Distance

The Forza 60CR's cooling system has an intelligent fan that automatically adjusts its speed according to the ambient temperature. This maintains a low noise level of approximately *22dB(A) and can adapt to noise control requirements in different shooting situations.

The Forza 60CR has four fan modes (Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed, Off), allowing flexible selection based on the audio recording requirements of different productions.

In Smart mode or Full Speed mode, the maximum output is 100%.

In Low Speed mode, the maximum output is 50%.

In Fan Off mode, the maximum output is 25%.
