The "48 Hours Varosha South" Festival and Photo Challenge in partnership with Dynaphos

Фестивалът "48 часа Варуша юг" и фото предизвикателството в сътрудничество с Dynaphos

The "48 Hours Varusha South" Festival, for the third consecutive year, brought Veliko Tarnovo to life and filled the streets of Varusha with people, joy, and good cheer. Art in various genres and formats was present throughout the 3 days of the festival – a total of 108 events that entertained everyone. In addition to numerous galleries and a rich musical program that created a cheerful atmosphere on several stages, the audience could also enjoy events with an architectural and other creative focus. There was also a program planned for the youngest visitors.

The scorching sun raised the mercury and active participation in the earlier part of the day was indeed a challenge, but the organizers had set up a relaxing spot on the riverbank for families, friends, and even four-legged pets. Everyone enjoyed a pleasant and cool time at the Beach.

Nevertheless, the evenings proved to be the most preferred time for festival-goers – they filled the galleries and outdoor stages, including the Beach and the Lapidarium of the Archaeological Museum, which offered an interesting audio-visual spectacle. On Saturday evening, the participants' favorite moment arrived – the closing of the main street to cars, which turned it into a pedestrian promenade for walks with family and friends amidst the artistic atmosphere of the events.

The Dynaphos team was there, and we will present you with some shots from the festival. However, the atmosphere is truly hard to fully recreate. That's why we recommend you participate in the next edition and experience the energy of Varusha for yourself. We certainly captured smiling and happy people, pleasant encounters, music, and many more artistic performances during these 3 days on the neighborhood's streets.

This year, "48 Hours Varusha South," in addition to its truly rich program, also offers a photo challenge, in collaboration with Dynaphos – a photo contest for the best shot from the festival. The categories in which attendees can participate are: concert, art, and street.

It's not too late to participate. All attendees who captured their impressions and emotions at the festival can submit their best shots by 11:59 PM on August 20th. Prizes are provided by Dynaphos: vouchers worth BGN 200, 100, or 50. The winners will be announced on September 2nd, and until then, everyone can vote on the festival's page for the best shot according to their judgment. The winner will also receive a prize of BGN 100.

Hurry! If you participated in the festival – accept the challenge too! Submit your favorite shots by the end of today. And from August 21st to August 31st, you can vote for your favorite.

We wanted to present the forum through the eyes of local photographers. In the gallery, you can find some shots by Marina Chamurkova and Pavel Gramatikov.

And to recall the atmosphere of last year's festival, we invite you to check out this article, where both the photos and video were shot with equipment from Dynaphos!
