Join us for the premiere of the new RED V-Raptor [X] camera
Dynaphos invites you to see the new V-Raptor [X] live at our studio on August 13th. From 12:00 to 18:00, you will be able to witness the capabilities of the latest cameras from RED in the DSMC3 generation, which we will equip with Cooke and Atlas Lens Co. lenses.
Why should you come?
The V-Raptor [X] inherits all the formats and recording modes from the [X] variant of its predecessor, eliminating potential distortions when shooting dynamic scenes with an entirely new VistaVision Global Shutter sensor! This is the world's first camera with such a sensor and is part of RED Global Vision with its big brother V-Raptor XL [X]! We are talking about a new set of features, made possible by the sensor, which provide you with additional flexibility and capabilities.
Extended Highlights and Phantom Track - what is it?
Extended Highlights mode and Phantom Track recording are the two key new features of the [X] cameras. Extended Highlights is a shooting mode that adds up to 3 stops of dynamic range, with the only compromise being the choice of frame rate. Phantom Track mode is ideal for virtual productions and working with a green screen, allowing the user to simultaneously capture the final image and the green screen in R3D files.
V-Raptor and V-Raptor [X] cameras also offer 8K broadcasting via IP with the new REDConnect module - we will talk about that later! And at our RED V-Raptor [X] Official Launch Event you will be able to get answers to your questions from a RED representative and our employees. Our doors are open, we look forward to seeing you on August 13th!
