Kamelia Atanasova with a practical self-portraiture class at Dynaphos Studio
"Autoportraits with Kameliya Atanasova" is the event that, on the penultimate day of October, invites you to F2Studio at Dynaphos to gather knowledge with full hands from a photographer with about 20 years of experience behind the lens. Its core is the practical benefit of self-portraits, Kameliya explains in advance.
The idea is for people to learn to discover the benefits of self-portraits: that you can try techniques that you can then apply; that when posing, once you've tried something yourself, you'll gain confidence for working with real models.
Kameliya Atanasova works with Nikon Z6 II and claims that through its app, this camera allows her to synchronize with her phone and thus see the image in real-time. For convenience when taking self-portraits, she places both her camera and phone on a tripod, using the phone as a remote control.
From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on October 30, Wednesday, Kameliya will demonstrate how to take self-portraits on two sets with different lighting schemes. Dynaphos will take care of the lighting, and the photographer will explain to you how she plans her photo shoots - from the location, through the costumes, to some specifics that will allow you to get the most out of them.
When a person has tried something on themselves and stands on the "other side of the lens," they can also put the model at ease, Kameliya Atanasova adds, regarding the benefits of learning to take self-portraits.
Admission to her practical class is free, but pre-registration at events@dynaphos.com is required. Our recommendation is to come with your cameras, research their self-timer capabilities in advance, and not forget to bring your self-timer remote control on the day of the event or install the application to control it.
We look forward to seeing you at the familiar address: 90 "Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov" Blvd., which you can reach as follows:
