The Ulanzi VF01 Waist-Level Viewfinder (Black) is a retro optical viewfinder that attaches to the camera’s hot shoe for composing shots at waist level and from low angles. It offers a clear 28mm full-frame view, switchable 35mm and 50mm frames, a magnetic folding lens hood, and a compact aluminum construction.

The VF01 offers the classic framing experience familiar from medium-format cameras. The viewfinder mounts to a cold shoe/hot shoe bracket, allowing you to look down from above—which is practical for street photography, documentary work, low-angle shots, and slower, more deliberate composition.

The optical design, with a 28mm full-frame angle of view, provides a clear view of the scene. Switchable 35mm and 50mm frame guides help you estimate the composition in advance, even when using a different focal length.

The magnetic, foldable lens hood reduces stray light and protects the viewfinder image when working outdoors. The viewfinder is a mechanical/optical accessory—it does not replace the electronic viewfinder and is not connected to the camera’s image output.
