The Zeiss B Speeds or Super Speed MK1 were released in the mid 70's and were some of the fastest lenses available at the time. The range consists of 18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm - all with a T stop of 1.4. The standout feature of the B Speeds is the triangular iris which results in a distinctive triangular bokeh when stopped down. The Zeiss B Speeds are also known for how compact they are - the TLS rehousing keeps the compact form factor of the B Speeds with a 95mm front while also retaining the cam-form system, high quality and strength. The original movements of the elements, some of which are floating, is incorporated into the design to ensure no loss of image quality.

The TLS rehousing for the Zeiss B Speeds offers a new stainless steel PL mount, high-grade aluminium and stainless steel body construction, new cam form focus drive, high caliber focus and iris rings, engraved dual focus scales and a standard 95mm front for all lenses in the range. The build quality is uncompromising and ensures robustness and durability for years to come. The optics remain unchanged to preserve the original and unmistakable visuals and characteristics of the B Speeds.
