Angenieux's Optimo Ultra 12x is a high-end cine zoom with well-controlled optical performance at each focal length and distance, balancing contrast and resolution to offer a cinematic look. With minimal breathing, no ramping and a fast 12x zoom ratio, the lens delivers fantastic images even at wide apertures.
The Optimo Ultra 12x's mechanical design also improves stability and serviceability, with a weight reduction for moving components and added dust traps to reduce dust inhalation. The lens offers a precise and ergonomic focus ring with a rotation of 321° and over 70 focus marks.
Thanks to the IRO technology, the Optimo Ultra 12x can be used in three different configurations - S35 (Ø31.1mm), U35 (Ø34.6mm) and FF/VV (Ø46.3mm) with dedicated sets of rear and rings.
