Sigma FP е безогледална камера, която осигурява функционалност за снимки и видео в изключително компактно тяло, което тежи само 422 гр. (с батерия и карта памет). Камерата се характеризира с 24.6MP full-frame BSI CMOS сензор, 14-bit дълбочина на цветовете, електронна стабилизация на изображението и съмвестимост с Leica L обективи, а напълно електронния затвор му дава възможност за постигане на максимална резолюция на RAW и JPEG файлове 6000x4000 и серийно снимане до 18 fps при 24.6MP. Sigma FP разполага с 49-точков контрастен AF, а базовата светлочувствителност от  100-25600 може да бъде разширена до ISO 6-102400. Камерата записва UHD 4K видео до 30p и Full HD видео до 120p като предлага възможност за 12-bit запис на външен рекордер/монитор.
