Cooke AP3 is an exciting new prime lens building on Cooke’s expertise in anamorphic lenses and the success of SP3.

Anamorphic is a format that demands to be taken seriously and rewards patience over novelty. AP3 brings the optical pedigree of Cooke's high-end anamorphic lineage into a compact, lightweight series built for modern mirrorless cameras. Balanced, purposeful and with the cinematic depth and character you'd expect from Cooke.

AP3 is democratizing anamorphic shooting making the kind of imaging historically reserved for high end productions more available. Here are some of the main ways we achieve this:

AP3 borrows certain optical characteristics from our Anamorphic/i FF and Anamorphic/i S35 lenses, while borrowing some physical and mechanical properties from SP3.
