Remote Speedlite flash triggering

Remote flash photography is easy with the ST-E3-RT(Ver.2): trigger multiple flashes simultaneously and control settings remotely. Trigger the shutters of multiple cameras remotely for synchronized shooting.

• Reliable external flash control

  You can control compatible Canon Speedlite flashes from up to 30m away. 2.4 GHz radio frequency control works reliably even when shooting outdoors or around corners – no direct line of sight is needed.

• Multi-flash shooting

  Create exciting scenes lit with multiple flashes by activating up to 15 Speedlites with just one Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT(Ver.2) mounted on the camera. E-TTL II flash mode makes exposure control easy.

• Remote camera control

  You can control an EOS camera equipped with a Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT(Ver.2) via a second camera or a compatible Speedlite flash, such as the Speedlite 600EX II-RT. You can trigger up to 15 cameras simultaneously for synchronized shooting.

• Convenient design

  The Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT(Ver.2) has dust and moisture protection at the same level as professional EOS cameras and L-series lenses. It features an easy-to-read backlit LCD display and is powered by two AA/LR6 batteries.

• Wireless second curtain sync

  The Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT(Ver.2) supports wireless second curtain sync for the EL-1 when triggered remotely, including 1/8192 power microflash and Flash Exposure (FE) memory.
