About the product
VCT-U14 is probably the second most important piece of equipment in your camera bag - second only to the camera itself. The VCT-U14 allows the full-size, shoulder mount professional camera or camcorder to be attached to a tripod's wedge-plate. The plate has a quick release mechanism that allows for rapid mount or dismounting of the camera from the tripod.

The E-Image Quick-Release Tripod Adapter is compatible with cameras that accept a VCT-14 quick-release tripod adapter, and is for use with Sony HDC, BVP and DXC series cameras, HDW, MSW, DVW, DNW, and DSR series camcorders, and Panasonic professional camcorders. It features an integrated safety release, lessening the chance of accidental camera separation from tripod. It features seven 3/8"-16, and five 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes for attaching the QR plate to a tripod.
