About the product
DZOFILM's new Arles Primes series are high-speed prime lenses designed for shooting in any scenario. Their ultra-wide T1.4 aperture ensures a dreamy shallow depth of field and range for use in low-light scenarios.
The optical design of the Arles Primes offers minimal aberrations, close to no breathing and stable and controlled flares leaving the user with control over how clean they want their image to look.
The style of the Arles is very neutral and natural, with the entire Arles series having a consistent color temperature around 5000K, while the 16 blade iris delivers beautiful circular bokeh and makes for an easy transition between in-focus and out-of-focus areas.
The lenses have a consistent front diameter of 95mm, with a 86mm filter thread (excl. 14mm), as well as a standard 0.8 MOD gear pitch design and consistent positioning of focus and aperture rings across the set.
The Arles Primes come in either PL or EF mounts, which are interchangeable, as well as offering compatibility with DZOFILM's KOOP rear filters. The lenses also offer a user interchangeable imperial/metric focus scale design, allowing for quick switching between the two depending on the user's preference.
