The Atlas 1.6X LF Extender is a must-have accessory for any professional filmmaker or photographer. This PL to PL mount converter allows you to extend the capabilities of your lenses, providing 1.6x magnification and only 1 and 1/3 stop light loss when used with our Orion Series 2x anamorphic primes (32mm to 100mm).
With the Atlas LF Extender, you can cover edge to edge on a variety of LF-sized sensors, including the ARRI LF, Sony VENICE, RED Monstro, and more. This means no more vignetting and superior optical performance, even when shooting wide open.
Not only is the Atlas LF Extender optimized for use with our Orion Series lenses, but it can also be used with a variety of other zoom and prime lenses. To ensure compatibility, we even include a check gauge for the rear element of PL lenses.
For those using 35mm format (non FF/LF sensor), the Atlas LF Extender extends your lenses by 1.6x, so a 100mm lens becomes 160mm and an 80mm lens becomes 127mm. However, please note that this extender is not compatible with EF mounts.
