Description
An ultra-compact spotlight made for professionals
Until now, truly small LED spotlights have not offered the precision and control demanded by gaffers and operators, but NANLUX changes that equation entirely with this meticulously designed 6W fixture with a built-in battery. The Evoke 5C provides professional-level light shaping and precise full-color output, yet measures only 5.6×4.4×4.5 cm and weighs a mere 160g. It is ideal for small stages, tabletop and macro cinematography/photography, or for seamless integration into furniture as unobtrusive practicals.
The Evoke 5C's wide range of magnetically attachable modifiers, including a soft dome, Fresnel lens, spot lens, barndoor, and projection adapter, allows for precise accents, fill lighting, and atmosphere enhancement. The fixture can be used handheld with the battery handgrip, precisely aimed with the dedicated stand, securely mounted with anti-twist 1/4"-20 thread, or for concealed mounting within a prop. With robust construction and IP67 protection, it can be used anywhere, anytime. An optional underwater housing takes it to even greater depths. The Evoke 5C delivers professional precision and versatility in an ultra-compact design, making it ideal for demanding lighting applications.
Convenient and versatile
The Evoke 5C measures only 5.6 × 4.4 × 4.5 cm and weighs just 160g. Extremely portable and quick to set up, it can be used handheld for run-and-gun shooting or discreetly placed in the frame to provide subtle fill light without drawing attention. It delivers 2026 lux at 0.5m (light only, 5600K), approximately doubling with the optional Fresnel lens and reaching 5.5 times more with the Spot Beam lens. This makes it ideal for enhancing subtle details, building atmosphere, adding localized accents, or creating precise accent lighting.
Versatile with a rich set of accessories
14 dedicated accessories have been designed for the Evoke 5C, including various modifiers, mounting accessories, power, and control. It features a magnetic and snap-on design on the front and a magnetic and locking design with electronic contacts on the back, allowing for quick and easy attachment of accessories. A 1/4”-20 mount secures the Evoke 5C to light stands or other supports, and a USB-C port allows for power, firmware updates, or connecting an adapter cable for wired DMX control.
Innovative Nebula C8 chip
Similar to the larger NANLUX Evoke 150C and Evoke 600C, the Evoke 5C is equipped with the advanced Nebula C8 Color Light Engine, which integrates deep red, red, amber, lime, green, cyan, blue, and indigo LEDs. It achieves higher color saturation, offers an ultra-wide color temperature range of 1000K to 20,000K with ±200 green/magenta adjustment, and delivers excellent color rendering with an average CRI/TLCI of 98. The Evoke 5C features seven built-in lighting modes, including CCT, HSI, HSIW, RGBW, XY coordinates, gel, and effect, providing flexible lighting control for creative and professional applications.
Flexible power options
With its built-in lithium battery, the Evoke 5C can operate for approximately 2.5 hours and lasts 4.7 hours with the battery handgrip, making it ideal for on-the-go shooting and quick repositioning.
It also accepts USB-C power, is compatible with an E27 socket adapter, or can be charged in the 8-lamp case via electronic contacts.
Dustproof and waterproof
With an IP67-rated enclosure, the Evoke 5C ensures reliable operation in harsh conditions. It can be submerged up to 1 meter underwater for 30 minutes. An optional IPX8-rated underwater housing extends its operating depth to 30 meters, allowing for high-quality lighting for diving applications.
Multiple control methods
The Evoke 5C supports multiple wired and wireless control methods to meet the lighting demands of professional productions, regardless of their complexity. Settings can be made directly on the device or wirelessly via the NANLINK app. For larger or more complex shoots, it allows remote control via wired DMX or wireless CRMX. The NFC function allows users to set DMX parameters for groups of multiple devices, even when powered off, significantly improving pairing efficiency.
