About the product

Cooke SP3 is an exciting new prime lens series based on one of the most legendary lenses in cinema history, which also shaped the Cooke Look we know today - the Speed Panchros.

The SP3 is a completely new design that is optically and mechanically optimized for full-frame mirrorless cameras. It enables more and more creators to enhance their narrative with an image that has defined cinema.

The SP3 lineup features user-changeable mounts for key camera mounts, which have been dominating the market - E-Mount, RF Mount, L Mount and M Mount. The lenses have an image circle of 43.3mm, covering almost all of the Full Frame sensors currently on the market, and the easily changeable mount options offer the user flexibility in use with different camera systems.

The lenses are colour matched to the Cooke Panchro/i Classics and offer dual focus scales, as well as a maximum aperture of T2.4 throughout the range - all in an incredibly small and lightweight yet durable housing. The SP3s truly shine in small and light setups, as well as difficult-to-rig situations, and especially for drone and gimbal use.

The SP3s offer sharpness in the centre of the image and a gentle focus fall-off towards the edge of the frame, giving the DOP extra dimensionality to shape the image and presenting a look that's similar to how we see the world through our eyes.
