About the product
The Cooke Anamorphic/i FF is an eight lens series, optimized for Full Frame coverage, with the focal lengths ranging from an ultrawide 32mm to telephoto 180mm.
Cooke Anamorphic/i combines traditional anamorphic characteristics with the signature Cooke Look including oval bokeh. The lenses offer a 1.8x squeeze factor - the perfect sweet spot for 36x24 sensors.
The range is colour matched and balanced, with the entire range sharing a maximum aperture of T2.3 (excl. 85mm at T2.8 and 180mm at T2.9) and with the 85mm being a macro focus lens.
The Anamorphic/i FF lenses feature a novel hybrid spherical and cylindrical lens element design, which results in a traditional organic and cinematic wide screen quality, characterised by smooth, elliptical bokeh and minimal colour fringing.
The flair is well controlled, and when specifying your Anamorphic/i FF, you have the option to choose your coating, allowing you to customize your flares, bokeh and aberrations to fit your vision.
The Cooke /i Technology enables compatible cameras to record key lens data for every frame, allowing digital access for post-production teams to key lens information like focusing distance, aperture, depth-of-field, hyperfocal distance, serial number and more.
