The deep parabolic softbox maximizes the power of the light source and best distributes the light output evenly across the entire area of the front diffusion surface. Smaller parabolic softboxes are most suitable for creating soft, sculpting or modeling lighting, primarily in portrait photography. Larger ones can be an excellent source of exceptionally soft lighting, and are also suitable for illuminating large-scale scenes of various types.
