The deep parabolic softbox maximizes the power of the light source and best distributes the light evenly across the entire area of the front diffuse surface. Smaller parabolic softboxes are most suitable for creating soft key or modeling lighting, primarily in portrait photography. Larger ones can be an excellent source of especially soft lighting, and are also suitable for illuminating large-scale scenes of various types.
