2 x JFET Instrument Inputs

replicate the input stage of a classic valve amplifier, iD44’s two harmonically rich JFET
Instrument Inputs give you the perfect sonic foundation for guitars and bass.

Designed to grow with you, iD44 lets you easily configure your studio to tackle bigger
sessions like recording drums or a live band with optical input and output connections.
Supporting both ADAT and SPDIF, now you can boost your I/O and add up to 16 channels of
mic preamps to your setup at any time.

Headphone Outputs
Confidently mix on headphones with iD44’s two engineer-grade headphone amps capable of
driving headphones up to 600Ohms. And with both a 1⁄4” jack and a mini-jack on Headphone
Output 1, iD44 allows you to plug in three sets of headphones - making working with artists a
breeze.

Speaker Outputs
Connect and listen to your mixes through two sets of speakers with iD44’s four line outputs -
ideal for checking how your mixes translate between speakers. Alternatively use the extra
line outputs to send audio to an external headphone amp for distribution to your artists.

Dim and Mute Controls
iD44 is equipped with both a dedicated Dim and Mute button, letting you quickly cut your
audio or talk with an artist - all without having to dive into software.
Customisable Control

Assign any of iD44’s advanced monitoring features, including Speaker Switching, Polarity
Invert or Mono Sum, to any of the user configurable Function buttons - your workflow just got
a whole lot easier.

Talkback Control
iD44’s dedicated talkback control enables you to use any audio source connected to your
computer such as a built-in or USB microphone as your talkback mic, freeing up valuable
mic Preamps for recording.
