It converts the fixture’s EXT port into a DMX port. It is compatible with fixtures like the Evoke 150C, which are equipped with an EXT port and support the DMX control protocol.
Overview
After connecting the DMX extension adapter to the fixture’s EXT port, it expands to provide two 5-pin XLR connectors for DMX IN and DMX OUT, enabling wired DMX connectivity for the fixture.
There is a magnetic module on the rear of the adapter, allowing it to attach to the fixture’s magnetic base for easy storage and transport with light, while also preventing direct cable strain on the EXT port to help extend its lifespan.
Additionally, the adapter has an IP66 rating, ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments.
