It maintains a maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout its entire zoom range, handling low-light situations and shallow depth-of-field scenarios with ease. The weather-sealed design weighs only 15.2 oz and has a 67mm front filter thread.
- Two aspherical elements control aberrations, while three extra-low dispersion elements eliminate color fringing, and three high-refractive index elements enhance overall resolving power.
- With 16 elements in 13 groups, the lens provides great resolution, clarity, and bokeh.
