"With beautiful bokeh and excellent autofocus capabilities, the E 15mm F1.4 G truly delivers the quality that content creators need, while remaining compact and lightweight for easy portability and handling. The E 11mm F1.8 offers high image resolution and is light enough to take anywhere - the ideal choice for vlogging."

E PZ 10-20mm F4 G

The world's smallest and lightest lens for unprecedented mobility and ease of use

The E PZ 10-20mm F4 G is 20% lighter than its predecessor (SEL1018), making it the smallest and lightest lens in its class with a total weight of only 178 grams, even with power zoom. In addition, the lens uses internal zoom and focus mechanisms, meaning its length does not change when focusing or zooming. The shift in the lens's center of gravity is minimal, making it an excellent choice if you want stable videos for your vlog or are shooting videos with stabilization systems.

Exceptional image quality and dynamic perspective that only an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens can provide

With the E PZ 10-20mm F4 G you get an extremely wide angle of view with a zoom range of 10-20mm, and the lens is designed to provide equally high optical quality throughout the image, from center to periphery, at any zoom setting. Three aspherical elements are precisely positioned to suppress field curvature and unwanted astigmatism, which are the two most common problems with ultra-wide-angle lenses. The optical design also includes two ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements that effectively suppress chromatic aberrations. An additional ED aspherical element contributes to higher resolution at every point in the image, from edge to edge. Since the lens has a constant maximum aperture of F4 at all focal length settings, image quality can be maintained consistently even when shooting video, and shutter speeds remain within easy working limits even in the evening or indoors when light is limited.

The combination of a circular aperture and carefully controlled spherical aberration guarantees a natural-looking G Lens bokeh, making every shot impressive.

The minimum focusing distance is 0.2 meters at maximum magnification of 0.14x, and the minimum focusing distance with manual focus is 0.13 ~ 0.17 meters at maximum magnification of 0.18x.

Greater expressiveness and control when shooting video

The E PZ 10-20mm F4 G uses a new power zoom system that ensures direct and fast zoom control with adjustable speed. Even the slightest movement of the zoom ring is registered with high precision to instantly translate into actual zoom. Users get full control in any shooting scenario using a separate zoom control lever. Electronic zoom minimizes unwanted camera shake, so even those shooting alone can produce smooth and stable images, and for even more convenient zoom control, you can customize dedicated control buttons directly from the body of any compatible camera[ii]. The lens remains balanced in every situation, making it a very good choice when you want a stable picture for your vlog or are shooting with a stabilization system (gimbal).

Improved AF for better photos and videos

The exceptional AF characteristics provide unprecedented freedom during shooting. The lens uses two linear motors that drive the focusing mechanism, giving you fast and quiet AF. The lens has an entirely internal mechanism, so its length remains unchanged when focusing.

Thanks to fast and reliable AF, you get smooth subject tracking, even when shooting videos at high frame rates, and reliably track the fastest-moving subject when shooting continuously at high shutter speeds. This reduces unwanted focus breathing when zooming, and variations in the angle of view are minimized for smooth and stable video.

Mobility, easy handling, and reliability in any situation

The compact power zoom lens E PZ 10-20mm F4 G is designed to provide maximum control and wide functionality for shooting video and stills with a separate focus control ring, zoom control ring, and zoom control lever. Customizable focus hold buttons and focus mode switch are carefully incorporated into the lens design, allowing you to easily adapt to rapid changes in shooting conditions.

Users can add 62mm screw-on filters, such as variable ND filters, for even more creative control. The lens is designed with dust and moisture resistance[iii] for added reliability when used outdoors.

E 15mm F1.4 G

G Lens resolution and beautiful bokeh

The E 15mm F1.4 G lens has a wide 15mm angle of view, 22.5mm in 35mm full-frame equivalent, and offers impressive G Lens resolution. Three aspherical elements in the advanced optical design effectively compensate for image distortions and ensure excellent resolution in every area of the frame, regardless of the lens's wide 15mm angle of view. An additional ED (extra-low dispersion) glass element and a Super ED glass element suppress chromatic aberrations.

The wide maximum aperture of F1.4, precise control of spherical aberration, and circular aperture mechanism make it easy to reproduce smooth background bokeh for a greater artistic effect. The background can be blurred so that subjects stand out clearly or to create beautiful background circles in low-light scenes.

With a minimum focusing distance of 0.17 meters and a maximum magnification of 0.15x when using manual focus[iv], you can achieve impressive close-up shots for both stills and videos.

Compact and lightweight design for exceptional mobility

Thanks to the aspherical elements and efficient design, a large aperture and high resolution are achieved in a lightweight lens of only 219g, with a diameter of just 66.6mm and a length of 69.5mm. With its wide angle of view, compact size, and light weight, this lens is ideal when you want to shoot starry skies, landscapes, architecture, or indoor scenes, as well as when shooting moving subjects, such as during a sporting event.

The presence of an internal focusing mechanism means that the lens's length does not change during focusing, which improves balance and makes overall operation easier. Due to its constant length and stable center of gravity, this lens is a good choice when shooting with a stabilization system.

AF that allows you to use your camera's maximum speed

Thanks to the two high-tech linear motors, you get fast, precise, and quiet AF with tracking for both stills and video clips. This extracts the maximum speed from the camera body, which is used to maintain focus, even on moving subjects.

The E 15mm F1.4 G uses Sony's latest lens technologies to reduce unwanted focus breathing when zooming. Variations in the angle of view are minimized for a smooth and stable video recording. The lens also supports the focus breathing compensation function provided by compatible α series bodies[v], which minimizes focus breathing during zooming that complicates subsequent processing.

Excellent control and reliability for both stills and videos

Manual focus with Linear Response MF ensures that the focusing ring responds directly and linearly to even the slightest movement when focusing manually. Turning the focusing ring is directly translated into the corresponding change in focus, giving you a sense of direct and precise control.

Despite its compact size, the E 15mm F1.4 G includes an aperture control ring for direct and intuitive control and an aperture mode switch button, from which you can choose between two positions: ON or OFF: In the ON position, you get tactile feedback that allows you to "feel" the individual steps, and the OFF position is for smooth, fluid, and quiet aperture control. The OFF setting allows for smooth and stable image control during video recording and is ideal for situations where silence is important.

For even more flexibility, you also have a focus hold button and a focus mode switch button. The focus mode switch button allows you to easily switch between autofocus and manual focus depending on the specific situation.

Last but not least, the E 15mm F1.4 G is dust and moisture resistant [vi] for even greater reliability when used outdoors in challenging conditions.

E 11mm F1.8

Superb resolution and delicate bokeh

With its ultra-wide angle of view, the E 11mm F1.8 is ideal for interior shots and frames where depth of field is used to achieve greater expressiveness. Thanks to the three aspherical elements and three ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements, consistently high resolution is achieved at every point in the image from center to periphery, regardless of the lens's ultra-wide angle of view of 11mm, 16.5mm in 35mm full-frame equivalent. The aspherical lenses are precisely positioned to compensate for image distortion and ensure excellent resolution in every part of the image, even with a fully open aperture. In addition, the ED glass further suppresses chromatic aberrations and effectively reduces color fringing, which most often occurs at the periphery of the image.

The lens's wide maximum aperture of F1.8 makes it easy to achieve deep bokeh in the background. Users can defocus the background to clearly emphasize themselves when shooting a vlog, or create beautiful circles of light for the background when shooting night scenes with an ultra-wide field of view. Precise control over spherical aberration and the circular shape of the aperture mechanism further help this unique lens always produce smooth bokeh.

With a minimum focusing distance of 0.12 meters and a maximum magnification of 0.2x [vii], you can achieve impressive close-up shots for both stills and videos.

Compact and lightweight design for shooting on the go

One of the advantages of the E 11mm F1.8 is its wide F1.8 maximum aperture, housed in a compact and lightweight lens. With a weight of 181g, a diameter of only 66mm, and a length of 57.5mm, the lens is an ideal complement to compact APS-C bodies.

Optimized for video clips

The two advanced linear motors provide fast, precise, and quiet AF with subject tracking for both stills and video clips, allowing you to use your camera's maximum speed to maintain reliable and accurate focus, even on moving subjects.

Sony's latest lens technologies significantly reduce unwanted focus breathing during zooming,[viii] and variations in angle of view are minimized for smooth and stable video recording. Integrating the focusing mechanism within the lens body means its length does not change during focusing, making it easier to approach your subjects and work in confined spaces, thus opening up new creative possibilities.

The ultra-wide 11mm angle of view of the E 11mm F1.8, equivalent to 16.5mm in 35mm full-frame, makes it easy to shoot content against a maximally wide background. The small size and light weight of the lens are an advantage when mobility and easy portability are important, for example, during extended shooting sessions with a lot of movement.

Manual focus with Linear Response MF ensures that the focusing ring responds directly and linearly to even the slightest movement when focusing manually, giving you a sense of fast and precise control.

Exceptional Control and Reliability

Despite its compact size, the lens offers flexible and intuitive control options thanks to features such as a focus hold button and a focus mode switch button. From the camera menu, the user can choose to assign an alternative function to the focus hold button. A dust and moisture-resistant[ix] design ensures additional reliability when used outdoors in adverse conditions.

The E 11mm F1.8 is also compatible with front filters – a feature often not available for ultra-wide-angle lenses.
