The 300x is the latest flagship LED light from Aputure's Light Storm series, which finally integrates properly mixed variable-white lighting into an easily modifiable light spot source. The 300x features a specially designed optical element for mixing colors in front of the LED element, combining a bi-color chipset into a single spot source. The combination of this new technology, along with the Aputure ecosystem, allows you to achieve flexibility like never before with Aputure products.

More performance

With Fresnel 2X, the LS 300x can generate over 65,000 lux at 1 meter, creating stunningly bright light, with CCT control always at your fingertips. By having the ability to use optical modifiers such as Fresnel 2X or Spotlight Mount, in addition to soft light modifiers such as Light Dome II, you can achieve exceptional lighting accuracy to meet any situation. Spot, flood, cut or diffuse light, shape the light without worrying about unwanted artifacts.

Flexible BI-COLOR range

The 300x is the first of many Aputure lights to use an extended CCT range of 2700K-6500K, exceeding the capabilities of traditional bi-color lights, allowing you to produce light that is warmer than typical tungsten fixtures and cooler than regular daylight (D55). Flexibility is key for fast movement, with the extended range you will need to use fewer gel filters that you have to carry. So whatever your ideal effect, the 300x will help you create light that will perfectly match your atmosphere.

Reliable color rendering

No matter which light source you use, color fidelity is always essential, so like all Aputure lights, the 300x has reliable color rendering capabilities. With CRI and TLCI scores of 96+, a tungsten SSI score of up to 85, and a D55 SSI score of up to 74, the 300x will always provide you with top-notch accurate color reproduction.

Robust design

Following the example of the 300d II, the 300x has the same sleek body construction and control box design. The 300x uses a full 360-degree adjustable yoke. In addition, like the 300d II, it has a completely silent, passively cooled control unit, with an integrated power and control system all in one.

Fast and precise CCT control

The main difference between the two control boxes is that the 300x now has a new second wheel for CCT control in addition to the brightness control wheel. The 300x allows you to adjust your CCT in increments of +/- 50K. But with the PRESET button located in the middle of the wheel, you can also switch between 5 common CCT presets (2700K, 3200K, 4300K, 5500K, 6500K) for quick access.

Dual output mode

The Aputure 300X features two output modes: Max Output and Constant Output.
In Constant Output mode: you can precisely change the CCT while maintaining a stable illumination level. In combination with the improved dimming control, it allows smooth and seamless changes in color temperature.
In Max Output mode: the Aputure 300X will always maximize your CCT results and dimming level, as well as maintain the largest range from 4000K to 5500K. Thanks to these two modes, you will be able to do everything from overcoming existing light to solving precise problems.

Creative power solutions

Similar to the 300d II, the 300x can also operate with a single battery at half its maximum power, or two batteries for full power * - no matter how many batteries you have, your scene will always be lit. The 300x control unit displays the remaining battery charge in real time, allowing users to always understand and plan for any filmmaking scenario. When running on battery power, the 300x gives you greater freedom of action and the ability to create creative images anywhere.

Multiple control methods

The Light Storm product line is all about flexibility and the 300x continues to uphold this by being compatible with multiple control methods. In addition to the control wheels, the 300x can be controlled with Aputure's proven 2.4G RF remote, DMX512, as well as the Bluetooth Mesh Sidus Link App. With the added range you get from enabling multiple Sidus Link lights, to controlling all light settings almost anywhere. And with professional DMX512 compatibility, the 300x allows multi-channel control, so you can fine-tune your lighting settings.

Built-in effects

The 300x also features 9 built-in light effects, such as "Paparazzi," "Fireworks," "Lightning," "Faulty Bulb," "TV," "Pulse," "Strobe," "Explosion," and "Fire," all with adjustable color temperature, opening up new possibilities for precise lighting control in your film productions. The capabilities of the 300x will always continue to grow with firmware upgrades for both the device and the Sidus Link ecosystem.

Modular flexibility

The 300x continues Aputure's tradition of being compatible with Bowens-S Mount, offering a wide variety of different modifiers to choose from, making it a uniquely bi-color light. With Bowens Mount, you can flexibly change the quality of your light source in seconds. Whether you want hard light with sharp shadows or pleasant soft light, never sacrifice performance or color quality. The 300x Bowens Mount can even be used with other industry-standard modifiers, as long as you have a Bowens speed ring.

SIDUS LINK ecosystem

With the integration of the Sidus Mesh chipset, the 300x gives you professional lighting control from a single application. This mesh technology extends across Aputure's entire future product line, creating an ecosystem you can trust. With the Sidus Link Mesh Network, created by Aputure products such as the 300x, 300d II, and MC, you can control up to 100 fixtures from your smartphone or tablet, with each additional fixture increasing the network range. This means that each light communicates not only with your phone, but also with all the lights in the network, creating a smarter ecosystem. Sidus Link allows you to control everything, including brightness, CCT, effects, and even presets for fast-paced situations.
