Remarkable performance with the revolutionary Nebula B4 light engine

Evoke 5000B is equipped with the new Nebula B4 light engine, developed by NANLUX. It not only provides white light efficiency but also offers a color temperature range of 2700K-6500K and ±80 green/magenta adjustment. With an ultra-high input power of 5000W*, it is the only bi-color luminaire of this power level to date that can adjust both color temperature and green/magenta values.

This makes the Evoke 5000B an ideal alternative to traditional fixtures that rely on gels and repeated adjustments, being much more accurate and taking significantly less time to set up.

Built-in professional CSP chips and ultra-high LED light efficiency allow the Evoke 5000B to output exceptional power, approaching that of a 9kW HMI or 24kW tungsten light.

Optimizing white light efficiency and functionality Based on the needs for both high light efficiency and functionality, NANLUX developed the innovative Nebula B4 engine. It combines 4 types of white light chips, providing green/magenta tunability across the entire bi-color fixture's CCT range. Compared to bi-color lights produced by full-color light engines, the Nebula B4 outperforms them by 30% in terms of white light output efficiency from the same input power.

NANLUX is always committed to an efficiency-oriented vision in product design, aiming for high efficiency and easy operation on set. The Evoke 5000B integrates the lamp head, control unit, and power supply into a single body, significantly reducing both overall weight and size compared to solutions with separate modules. With its all-in-one lamp and only one cable, managing the luminaires is simpler and more organized, improving efficiency both on set and during transport.

To reduce weight and increase durability, the Evoke 5000B is constructed from high-strength magnesium alloy. It weighs only 46 kg (with yoke), a remarkably low weight.

The Evoke 5000B is constructed with an IP66-rated housing, allowing it to withstand extreme weather conditions and enabling production to continue unaffected in harsh environments.

Precise design in every detail

The NANLUX team has carefully considered the different needs of users in the detailed design of the Evoke 5000B. It features balance adjustment rails on both sides for flexible head positioning, maintaining a neutral center of gravity when various accessories are mounted. Its motorized yoke includes a disc brake for secure angle locking and precise positioning, with an angle display ideal for group setups. The Evoke 5000B's NL mount incorporates the new PosiTight system, providing dual security to ensure a tighter connection between the light and the accessory.

The light also comes with a slider that prevents wear by lifting the light, enhances transport efficiency through a stackable design, and offers impact protection with built-in springs to reduce shock during drops or transport. Two front and rear handles facilitate setting up or adjusting the light, even when mounted in higher positions.

Excellent light performance

The Evoke 5000B adopts a unique 95° beam angle, making it suitable for illuminating large areas even without a modifier. With this angle and emission area, the quality of light and shadows accurately mimics sunlight, making it an ideal solution for simulating natural light.

Exceptional dimming control

The Evoke 5000B features smooth dimming, especially from 0.0% to 0.1% brightness, which is essential for fade-out lighting. It achieves fully linear dimming through newly developed hardware combined with optimized blending algorithms.

The newly added high-speed mode allows the Evoke 5000B to switch from PWM to DC mode, maintaining stable and constant brightness during high-speed shooting. Even at over 10,000 frames, it provides smooth, flicker-free operation.

Combined with its extremely high illuminance, the Evoke 5000B provides an excellent lighting solution for high-speed shooting.

Comprehensive controls, ideal for sets

Evoke 5000B is designed with integrated control, providing easy and quick access to operations. The panel is equipped with three knobs, four buttons, and a 4.3-inch display for intuitive and quick control. The new generation user interface provides users with a simple menu and user-friendly icons, allowing them to quickly find necessary options and adjust parameters. A new wired controller is included with the light, providing secure wired control when the light is mounted high.

The availability of DMX/RDM, Art-Net/sACN and LumenRadio CRMX, Nanlink App 2.0, and remote control options allows the Evoke 5000B to operate seamlessly in professional film and television production sets, enabling simultaneous control of multiple fixtures.

Optimized cooling management

The Evoke 5000B is equipped with a newly developed cooling system, including optimized heatsinks and fan modules that improve heat dissipation efficiency. This cooling system includes Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed, Off, and Pause modes, allowing users to switch between them according to their needs. Smart mode automatically adjusts the fan speed according to the ambient temperature. In this mode, the noise level is only 44 dB(A), ensuring a silent recording environment.

Full ecosystem of NL mount accessories

Thanks to advanced technology, the light source module of the Evoke 5000B is the same physical size as that of the Evoke 2400B. The adoption of the NL mount makes the Evoke 5000B compatible with most Evoke 2400B accessories, such as Fresnel, reflector, parallel beam reflector, and softbox, meaning it can produce a wide variety of light effects. This reduces the investment in accessories required when purchasing the new luminaire.

Additionally, a new larger motorized Fresnel lens, motorized yoke, and wired controller tailored for the Evoke 5000B are also introduced. The motorized Fresnel includes a 45 cm lens with a zoom range of 16°-50°, providing 47970 lux at 16° for a smaller illuminated area and a softer look. The zoom range can be adjusted via the button on the Fresnel, the light controls, wired (DMX, Ethernet) or wireless (Nanlink App 2.0, LumenRadio CRMX), with built-in fans ensuring stability at high temperatures.

The motorized yoke for the Evoke 5000B allows electronic angle adjustments with 540° horizontal rotation and 270° vertical tilt, improving setup efficiency for high rigging. It features a control panel for simultaneous fixture and yoke adjustments and can also be controlled via buttons, wired controller, DMX/RDM, or Ethernet.

The wired controller features a 3.2-inch display, three buttons, and three knobs, with a layout identical to the Evoke 5000B for easy adaptation. It includes an 8m connection cable, an IP66-rated housing for weather resistance, and a magnetic back for convenient attachment to metal surfaces or the light's magnetic base.
