Samyang's XEEN lens series is designed to provide unique performance and quality that fully meet the requirements and needs of cinematographers and videographers.
XEEN lenses are specially designed according to all standards and requirements for cinema lenses. Engineered to give you the sharpest image at resolutions above 4K+. The lenses in the series have a special multi-layer coating for better contrast and color reproduction. The lens has geared focus and aperture rings with smooth travel. The focus ring has a throw of 200° (from closest focus distance to infinity), allowing for extremely high precision during manual focusing. The lens has a double-sided metric scale – located on both sides of the lens, so it can be used by the operator/focus puller from both sides of the camera.
All XEEN series lenses have the same position for the focus and aperture rings, allowing for quick lens changes without having to readjust the follow focus.
The lens body is metal, designed to withstand daily use and the demands of a film set.
