The 48 Hours Varusha South Festival will preserve the emotion of 85 events with the support of Dynaphos
The "48 Hours Varusha South" festival in Veliko Tarnovo expects an audience of 15,000 people. For two days - from August 18th to 20th - it will present 85 cultural events to locals and guests of the city. The emotions from these events will be preserved in photos and videos with the support of filming equipment from Dynaphos.
"I sat at the same desk as Hristo Kabadaev in elementary school, and it turned out that he became one of the best businessmen, and then one of the best cultural managers in Bulgaria. We both learned our lessons well, and I must say that he is the person who has always helped me," shares Galin Popov, one of the festival's organizers and its facilitator.
The forum launched last year. Just like then, in its second edition, the riverbed of the Yantra River along "Kraybrezhna" street has been cleared, and it is transformed into a pedestrian zone. The Main Street is also closed. A large part of the events are concentrated here. Exhibitions and local musicians will be presented, the audience in the square in front of Tsarevets will be able to enjoy a concert by Maxim Eshkenazy and Mihaela Fileva with the Vratsa Symphony Orchestra, and DJs from China and the USA will arrive for lovers of techno music. Architectural events for intervention in the urban environment will accompany the two festival days, and a program for the youngest is also planned.
"We have many causes related to the preservation of cultural and historical heritage. We have currently cleared the 'St. Spas' church, which for the first time since 1986 will truly come to life, as we will project the altar and icons onto its ruins," adds Galin.
The photos and videos that will capture the atmosphere of Varusha South on both festival days will be shared on the festival's Facebook page. After the event, a short film is also expected, which Galin Popov has committed for the "neighbors" from the Veliko Tarnovo neighborhood to share with friends of Dynaphos from all over the country.
