Dynaphos will be a witness on Nikolay Kalaidjiev's flight for another Guinness record
Dynaphos will witness Nikolay Kalaydjiev's latest ultralight aircraft record, which is expected to be recorded in Guinness after the pilot performs the most consecutive 360-degree turns without interruption in a single flight in front of our cameras. It is planned to take place at Lesnovo Airport this Sunday, June 18th.
"I will be doing this continuously for 6 hours. The Guinness condition is that I have to keep turning. If I straighten the plane and don't turn for 5 seconds, the record is terminated. So, the option 'I feel bad, I want to stop and rest!' is not available," Nikolay Kalaydjiev commented in advance.
For the record to be recognized, he must submit a video recording in which the aircraft is continuously in frame. For this purpose, Dynaphos will monitor him with two cameras from the ground and action cameras in the cockpit, about which we will tell you in detail after the flight.
"Many thanks to Dynaphos and Hristo Kabadayev, who are providing all the equipment. The filming itself is very challenging in terms of organization because the flight will be very long. 6 hours is a lot of material, it has to be filmed and sent to Guinness in raw form," notes the pilot.

On the day of the record attempt, Lesnovo Airport will host the Inter Drone Expo festival. Its program includes hot air balloon flights, and through a raffle, one of the guests will win a flight with Nikolay Kalaydjiev in his ultralight aircraft.
"Then I will be a triple record holder. I am sure I will succeed. It will be very difficult, but I know what awaits me," says the pilot, who took out a loan to buy the plane.
His first record was in 2021, and the second – in 2022. For the new record, Nikolay Kalaydjiev is mainly preparing with daily physical exercises, running, and weightlifting. He also has flight training two or three times a week. He has already completed the aircraft tests; its re-equipment to have an additional fuel tank; and is in a good mood.

By profession, he is a military pilot, and his dream is to become the third Bulgarian cosmonaut. Let's wish Nikolay success, about whose records you can read more on his website. And from his flight for the third Guinness record with an ultralight aircraft, expect a story, photos, and video in our blog.
