Canon Introduces Four New RF Lenses – Expanding the Range with Super-Telephoto Capabilities – Plus Two New RF Extenders

Sofia, Bulgaria, July 9, 2020 – Along with today's introduction of the EOS R5 and EOS R6 – two cameras that advance the concept of mirrorless cameras and join Canon's revolutionary EOS R system, Canon Europe is also showcasing four new RF lenses and two RF extenders. The new lenses add telephoto zoom capabilities to the innovative RF range, as well as additional creative options for portrait and macro photography for professionals and enthusiasts.

In line with Canon's long-term plans for the EOS R system and RF mount, today's additions, like other products in the RF range, leverage the advantages of the EOS R system – helping photographers achieve new levels of quality, performance, and creativity.

Joining the RF range are:

RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM – a compact and versatile L-series telephoto zoom lens with a large focal length range, incredible image quality, 5-stop image stabilizer, two fast Nano USM motors, weather sealing, and a control ring for adjusting settings for optimal control.
RF 600mm F11 IS STM and RF 800mm F11 IS STM – the world's lightest autofocus lenses with 600mm and 800mm focal lengths, respectively.
