Taking features from popular broadcast microphones like the BP40 (but in a very compact size, similar to the AT2020), the robust AT2040 dynamic microphone delivers professional broadcast-quality sound and stylish design to podcasters and other content creators at an affordable price. The AT2040 has a multi-stage internal pop filter made of non-woven material and foam to provide superior internal filtering, while its integrated shock mount prevents unwanted noise by reducing vibrations from the boom arm or microphone stand. The highly directional element (hypercardioid) keeps the sound focused on your voice and helps minimize unwanted room noise, ensuring professional-quality broadcasts.
The microphone comes with a pivoting stand mount, a 5/8"-27 to 3/8"-16 threaded adapter, and a soft protective pouch.
