PHOTO FORUM FEST 2017
As you all know, the юбилейния 10th Photo Forum Fest ‘2017 took place between November 2-5, 2017. The event was organized in the Ethnographic Complex Zlatograd.
Traditionally, Dynaphos took care of setting up a photo studio this year as well, and this year we focused on the bestsellers in our product range, namely the high-speed Speedster QT-600 II.
The photo studio was freely accessible, and everyone had the opportunity to shoot with the 2 wonderful models, Bilyana and Lora, and those who were brave enough to show us the results of their work received a gift – a Dynaphos reflector. We published the photos in a gallery on our Facebook page.
The event traditionally had an educational character, with the main topics this year being:
- Traditional Bulgarian wedding and rituals, atmosphere, shooting.
- Virtual Reality (VR) and photography
- Presentation of Photo Forum Pro – a platform for professional photographers, people and projects
- Presentation of photographic novelties
- Workshops
- Printing images with photographic printers
- Market for used photographic equipment
The competitive part was naturally not missed, as VIP Trading Digivision organized a workshop-competition on the topic "Creative Wedding Photography" with a grand prize: a voucher for 500 BGN for purchasing equipment.
A series of interesting lectures and demonstrations were prepared for the participants. Georgi Nedelchev conducted a workshop on "Product Photography" with lighting provided by Dynaphos, Emilian Frenchev from MintPics told us more about the advantages and disadvantages of virtual reality and what benefits it brings to photographers, and Tsvetan Ganev – ceclii showed us how to do macro photography with Focus Stacking – a demonstration with a mobile phone, stacking process and processing to the final version of the photo.
We are happy that this year the lectures from the event were streamed live for the first time with the assistance and equipment provided by Dynaphos.
Naturally, an integral part of FFF 2017 was the opportunity to test and try out various photographic equipment. Among the companies that participated were Canon Bulgaria, who presented their most current models of cameras and lenses in the professional and amateur classes, Nikon with cameras and lenses for testing and shooting, VIP Trading Digivision traditionally provided Tamron lenses for testing, a set of Pentax and Leica cameras, including the full-frame model Pentax K-1, cameras with 360-degree photo and video capabilities Ricoh Theta 360, Olympus, Foto Bravo also participated, as well as Factor.bg with Epson printers. We, from Dynaphos, showed mobile artificial lighting that can be used outdoors or indoors, high-speed Speedster QT-600 II flashes and a wide range of Samyang lenses.
