Over 16 hours of live streaming with Blackmagic Design at an anime, manga, gaming, and comics festival
Between 8 and 10 AM, a live stream on each of the two non-working days, July 6th and 7th, and a team of 26 people, 8 of whom are operators – these are the numbers behind the live broadcast of the biggest Bulgarian, colorful, and inspiring festival for anime, manga, Asian culture, Western cinema and television, gaming, and comics, Aniventure Comic Con. The rich program with cosplay, gaming, meetings with movie stars, and a lot, lot of merchandise can be followed online thanks to BulStream.
"We enter this 'cinema' with a lot of Blackmagic Design equipment. We have combined a wide range of cameras, video mixers, and signal delivery equipment. We have combined many types of lenses, very professional high-end television equipment with some different cameras, which very few people do. But surprisingly, everything works perfectly. The equipment gives us a lot of freedom of action because you can combine different things in different ways," shares Marian Baychev – Marbeto, for the blog of Dynaphos.
And what remains hidden from viewers at home in front of their computers? The fact that everything is prepared 4 days before the event.

"We've been here since Tuesday – one day for setup, the rest of the time for rehearsals and testing, so that the viewer can become part of this event. In my opinion, it's much more interesting in front of a computer than live. The cameras show shots from many angles that you can't see here."
BulStream has been seriously involved in live streaming and live broadcasting for 4-5 years. They primarily broadcast concerts and sporting events, as well as many e-sports and gaming events.
"Our studios are designed for online gaming events. When we are in season, we have about 24 hours of live stream."
And the world of games literally stepped out of computers these two days, as at Inter Expo Center, where Aniventure Comic Con is held, the most unusual sight is people without character costumes or without cameras and camcorders.
What we captured, also armed with a Blackmagic Design camera, and what else Marian shared in front of it, we invite you to watch in this video on our YouTube channel. You can subscribe for more inspiring, motivating, and educational videos.
