MadePro Conference 2024 - the annual dose of inspiration for photo and video enthusiasts
For the 7th consecutive year at the same location – an event for photography enthusiasts, amateurs, and professionals, who spent several days filled with inspiration, master classes, new acquaintances, and shared experiences.
MADEPRO Conference 2024 was held on April 19-21, with attendees also able to participate in interesting master classes with Laura Zalenga and Dima Maley in the days before and after.
Every year, the hall becomes fuller, and we will briefly mention who made that happen this time.
Ivaylo Donchev – Red Bull's only official photographer in Bulgaria, opened the conference with stories of flight and an adrenaline-pumping video showcasing the challenges of shooting during an exciting event in Ronda, Spain.
For all three days, participants had exciting and inspiring meetings. However, the hall rose to its feet after the presentation by celebrity photographer Andy Gotts, who supplemented his celebrity portraits with interesting stories behind them. His own story of how he started taking these intimate and deeply human shots is also inspiring. It also exemplifies the importance of perseverance and consistency in photography.
Sébastien – Le Turk – a French photographer and director known for his conceptual projects – shared his intriguing shooting style and workflow. In his projects, he designs his own sets, in which he places picturesque and colorful characters.
How to photograph a sandwich underwater, what lies behind the stunning finished shot in underwater photography, what challenges models and the team might face 22 meters below the surface – Yulian Nedev shared in his interesting lecture. He also showed footage from a demonstration at last year's PhotoForum Fest, for which Dynaphos provided Godox WT60R underwater RGB LED tubes. Yulian shared that an upcoming project will again rely on the underwater tubes to illuminate the waters of the Red Sea.

In the foyer of the conference hall, participants had the opportunity to meet all sponsors and exhibitors, test various equipment, browse promotional materials, or simply engage in interesting conversations with acquaintances or strangers.
We also presented an opportunity for a close look at our new continuous bicolor lighting Dynaphos SL-60II Bi and SL-300III Bi, consulting interested parties on its capabilities on site. We answered many questions about Godox and Nanlite LED tubes (Nanlite PavoTube II 15C RGBWW tube, Nanlite PavoTube II 15X RGB tube, KNOWLED TP4R RGBWW tube, Godox TL30 RGB tube, Nanlite PavoTube T8-7X RGB tube), as well as about Joby Beamo Reel LED lighting Joby Beamo Reel and Joby Beamo Reel Color RGB lighting.
Overall, we focused on LED lighting, both compact and not so compact, like the Godox Knowled F600Bi flexible LED panel. But still, at the stand, we also offered the opportunity to test Samyang, Tokina, and Laowa lenses, as well as interesting solutions for photo and video work.
The interview space that the organizers set up in one of the rooms next to the hall was lit with 2 Dynaphos LDX100 BI LED panels.

But since the forum in Pomorie has already concluded, we are looking forward to MadePro Connect – this year it will be in Sofia again. Save the dates October 1-2, and the theme is "Wedding and Children's Photography."
