Introducing 2 new cameras: Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro and Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2, 2 ATEM switchers, and a converter.
Blackmagic Design closed out February by introducing several new products for broadcasting video.
Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro

The new studio camera offers more capabilities packed into a compact and portable design. It features a large integrated 7" HDR viewfinder – convenient for everything from television productions, news broadcasting, sports, education, conference presentations, and even weddings. It has an EF lens mount, a larger 6K sensor for improved colorimetry and fine detail processing, built-in ND filters, and live streaming via Ethernet or mobile phone.
Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2

This is an updated model that now includes built-in live streaming.
Thanks to this feature on both cameras, you can now position cameras remotely, almost anywhere in the world, and they will be able to generate a live H.264 HD stream to send back to the studio via the internet. Simply connect the camera to the internet via the built-in Ethernet connection or connect a 4G or 5G phone to the USB-C port for streaming.
Most importantly: even over the internet, you maintain full control over camera management, including zoom (but only with compatible lenses). What's more: with both cameras, you'll be able to handle extremely challenging lighting conditions while still creating cinematic-looking images. With popular EF or MFT lens mounts, you'll have compatibility with a wide range of affordable photographic lenses. Adjust the lens manually or from Blackmagic's zoom/focus controllers – just like a large studio camera.
Attention, directors: the cameras have SDI connections that include talkback, so you can speak to camera operators during live events to direct shot selection, eliminating the problem where all cameras might capture the same shot at the same time.
ATEM Television Studio HD8 and ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO
This is a portable professional live production switcher with an integrated control panel. It has 8 standard-converted SDI inputs, 2 additional outputs, 4 chromakeyers, 2 downstream keyers, SuperSource, 2 media players, and many transitions. Additionally, it combines the functions of an entire television studio and offers streaming, recording, an audio mixer, talkback, multiview, and internal cloud storage capability.
And the ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO model records all 8 inputs for editing! Crucially, the panel is repairable.

The new ATEM Microphone Converter analog-to-digital audio converter allows you to add additional microphones to ATEM switcher models, such as the new ATEM Television Studio HD8. The device features an extremely low noise floor of -129dBV, a dynamic range of 131 dB(A), low distortion of 0.002%, and uniform tolerances across all channels. It has an HDMI output for monitoring with scrolling waveform displays.
