Plovdiv - One-Day Introduction to Studio Photography Workshop

On April 2nd, from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Alex Stand Studio and Dynaphos Photo School invite beginner photographers from Plovdiv and the region to a one-day workshop: "Introduction to Studio Photography."

The workshop is aimed at amateur photographers who wish to take their first steps in studio photography. You will be able to learn more about the setup of studio lighting and get acquainted with the basic principles of working with it.
The lecturers will be Mr. Alex Stand, owner of Alex Stand Studio, and Mr. Boris Bishkov (borovinka), Sales Manager of Dinafos Ltd.

The following topics will be covered:

1. Structure of the photographic flash
2. How to synchronize the camera with flash units?
3. Basic characteristics of light. Ways to control and modify the light flow (with demonstrations and photo discussions)
4. What lighting to choose? (different solutions will be discussed – from professional to compact studio flashes, as well as equipment for strobists)
5. How to organize a photo studio at home, what space do we need?
6. Time for free experiments and photo discussions

(the program includes a lunch break from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM)

The workshop will be held on April 2nd from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM at Alex Stand Studio, Plovdiv, "Grand" shopping complex, 56 Captain Raycho Street. To ensure optimal assimilation of the material taught, the maximum number of participants is limited to 15 people. The participation fee is BGN 50.
