Nanlite's new Forza II series – the change from the inside out
Users' memories of classic NANLITE products are refreshed with the Forza 60/60B II - an upgrade of the first generation to further explore the potential of small and compact LEDs.
The true potential of compact and lightweight LED lights is realized with the new second generation NANLITE Forza 60 II and 60B II.
This time, NANLITE's voice is heard more clearly with the official launch of Forza 300/300B II & 500/500B II - all-round improvements from the inside out.
Based on years of feedback from real users and their own research and development, NANLITE is ready to demonstrate how much their LED lights have improved since their first introduction three years ago.
With the new Forza 60 II and 60B II, many aspects have been taken to the next level without compromising the strengths of the first generation, such as interaction, control, noise management, and more.

Forza 60/60B II packs stunning power into ultra-compact bodies, just like its predecessor, with illumination levels of 3420lux/2096lux@1m without a reflector. With included maximum/constant power modes, the Forza 60B II features a uniform light ratio, adjusting CCT from 2700K to 6500K. Both Forza 60/60B II lights also perform excellently in terms of color rendering, with CRI and TLCI rated at 96 and 98 respectively.
Built-in 11/12 special effects with adjustable parameters, Forza 60/60B II allow creators to bring their imagination to life, with multiple control options including on-board, 2.4G, Bluetooth and DMX/RDM. Noise control has been improved to make the lights stand out from competitors, with noise levels reduced to 20dbA even with a rotating fan, thus eliminating the need to turn off the fan for most sound recording applications to sacrifice intensity.
Forza 60/60B II uses the same compact and robust FM mount. The included adapter ensures compatibility with Bowens mount accessories. In addition to AC power, the lights have DC power capability via a battery grip compatible with NP-F or V-mount batteries. Both lights support firmware upgrades via the USB port at the bottom of the light, thus leaving an open window to the future. More new features and operations will be introduced based on user feedback through firmware updates.

If we say Forza 60/60B II are just the appetizer, then Forza 300/300B II and 500/500B II will be the main course.
All innovations and improvements applied to the 60W range have also been integrated into the 300W and 500W ranges with appropriate modifications. As NANLITE never stops exploring the field of LED lighting technology with the goal of creating a Chinese brand respected by the world, their relentless efforts bear further fruit with the new Forza 300/300B II & 500/500B II.

Four spot source lights take the stage simultaneously to recombine Forza's DNA and further streamline the creation process. With power consumption of 300W/500W and a CCT range of 2700K-6500K, more opportunities for creative works will be discovered, as they work alongside other Forza lights already excelling in the market.
Forza 300/300B II and 500/500B II inherit the same Forza gene, which is characterized by a uniform and high-quality light field. This time, the typical intensity loss when adding bi-color functionality has been avoided. All lights feature W(RG)/WW(RG) color mixing systems with G/M±80 adjustable capabilities. Thus, NANLITE's R&D team provides creators with perfect weapons to easily handle various lighting situations. The color rendering capabilities of Forza 300/300B II and 500/500B II have also been re-evaluated and improved in a comprehensive manner, making them reliable additions to filmmakers' toolkits. Providing true colors is assured with Forza 300/500 II CRI/TLCI scores of 96/97 and Forza 300B/500B II CRI/TLCI scores of average 96/97.
In terms of both form factor and internal structure, immense efforts have been made to refine the design.
The control box features a new compact concept with a built-in power adapter, reducing the overall size of the Forza 300/300B II control unit by 37% and the Forza 500/500B II by 16%. V-mount battery plates on both sides, a curved yoke with a single-sided locking mechanism, and an integrated quick-release device all provide greater convenience on set.

The control interface features intuitive operation and comprehensive control methods. All four fixtures include built-in dual 2.4G and Bluetooth modules, providing NANLINK with a field to excel in studio shooting and live streaming. It supports DMX/RDM control via wired connection to meet the high demands of film crews for more complex lighting control in groups with precision and stability.
Regarding power, these four lights can seamlessly handle various shooting scenarios with dual batteries, and 14.4V-14.8V batteries can be used simultaneously. All units also support single battery operation for quick power switching when the battery is low. This innovation allows for hot-plugging, as well as hot-swapping between AC/DC for Forza 300/300B II and 500/500B II, without interrupting operation.
The Forza II series includes a new adjustable cooling system with 4 available operating modes: SMART, FULL SPEED, LOW SPEED, and OFF. The noise level is reduced to 23 dBA in SMART mode. Noise control has also been significantly optimized compared to the last generation in FULL SPEED mode. There will be no worries about noise interference in sound-sensitive shooting environments such as interviews, MVs, and TVC shoots.
Forza 300/300B II and 500/500B II come with a standard Bowens mount with an additional umbrella mount.
Modifiers from NANLITE or other third parties can be seamlessly attached to unlock endless possibilities for shaping light. Not only is the quick-release bracket standard, but so are the extended connecting cables - DC connecting cable (3M) and AC connecting cable (6M). With 7.5M and 12M DC connecting cables sold separately, mounting the lights high on set will be easy. The included carrying bag has also been improved - made of solid hollow plates and with improved stitching on the outside for greater durability.
With 11 effects built into Forza 300/500 II respectively, and 12 effects built into Forza 300B/500B II, the lights help realize complex creative ideas of filmmakers. All effects strive for a harmonious blend of practical imitation and artistic modification, as well as expanding the possibilities for scenarios you've envisioned.

Parameters for each individual effect can be adjusted via the onboard control, with more customization options available through the NANLINK APP. The built-in USB port allows for firmware updates via a USB flash drive, leaving the door open for unfolding potentials in the future.
NANLITE Managing Director Nancy feels very proud of the launch of this line, saying: "We have always believed that the Forza series is one of the pillars of our product portfolio. We are determined to make people think of Forza first when NANLITE is mentioned. I think this time people will have a deeper impression of how Forza will change their lives in content creation and filmmaking."
