Photography Competition "Manfrotto - A second is not enough"

We invite you to participate in a Manfrotto contest, in partnership with Dynaphos and Photo Forum, on the topic "Manfrotto - A Second is Not Enough"

A second is not enough to imagine more! Extending the exposure time opens up opportunities for creating impressive photographs. Every second matters when time is both a tool and an object of study. Every extra second can produce a different and even unexpected result.

Grab your tripods and give your imagination time to soar! The theme of the contest provides a wide field for expression, especially now that summer is in full swing. Subjects of your attention can be the vast starry sky, mountain and sea landscapes, the pulse of the city, people's emotions, the interaction between objects, and everything that is in your fantasies.

Period of conduction:

The "Manfrotto - A Second is Not Enough" contest will run for three months, starting on 15.06.2014 and ending on 15.09.2014. After the photo contest, a photo exhibition of the best participating works will be presented. The photos will be printed in 60x40 cm size. The date of the event will be announced later.

Contest rules:

Participants in the photo contest must comply with the conditions set out below:

Photos must be taken using long exposure times - times that prevent handheld shooting.

To participate in the contest, you must be registered on the website www.photo-forum.net.

You can upload your photos to the specially created gallery for this purpose – the "Manfrotto - A Second is Not Enough" contest on the Photo Forum website, in accordance with your weekly quota.

By participating in this contest, the participant declares that they are familiar with its rules and agrees to abide by them.

The contest is not anonymous and has no age restrictions.

Participants guarantee that they are the authors of the images with which they participate in the photo contest and hold the copyrights for them.

Authors must be prepared to provide us with a raw file, negative, slide, or the original file of the photograph to prove their authorship.

Photos with an A rating above 50 will also be published on Dynaphos' Facebook page. Each month, the photograph with the highest rating on Facebook will receive a consolation prize - a Manfrotto PIXI mini tripod.

The organizers have no right to provide the photos to other parties without the author's consent.

Photos that do not meet the conditions of the photo contest will not be reviewed by the jury, nor will their rating be taken into account.

Voting:

Any Photo Forum user who has at least 5 photos with a minimum of 30 points from rating A can vote for the photographs in the "Manfrotto - A Second is Not Enough" contest.

Requirements and mechanism for participation:

Each author can participate with an unlimited number of photos within the contest. To be considered for the ranking, authors must provide files with the necessary resolution for printing in 60x40cm size. Authors can send the ranked photographs after the end of the contest to the e-mail: konkurs@dynaphos.com

Judging:

After the contest concludes, a jury consisting of Boni Bonev, Boris Bishkov, Vladimir Donkov, Lyubomir Sergeev, and Temelko Temelkov will select three photographs from the contest gallery among the 30 photos with the highest rating. At the opening of the photo exhibition, the jury will announce their selection (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place).

* Each month, the photograph with the highest rating on Dynaphos' Facebook page will receive a Manfrotto PIXI mini tripod as a consolation prize.
