Dynaphos added new brands and support for projects by professionals and enthusiasts in photography, video, cinema, and streaming to its well-known portfolio of brands and services in 2024 – the first year after celebrating two decades in the Bulgarian market.

We welcomed a new addition to our family: the first continuous lights with our brand. Created with the help of our partners at Godox, they are a reliable partner for projects in both small and medium-sized studios.

Our showroom also welcomed some of the most affordable professional anamorphic lenses – Atlas. Well-known in the global film industry, they appeared on the Bulgarian market through Dynaphos. In 2024, we became their official reseller to help you achieve your dreams of cinematic images comparable to those produced only with high-end anamorphic cinema lenses.

We also became a partner for Bulgaria for the legendary Cooke lenses, backed by over 100 years of history and recognition for their distinctive cinematic look, known as "The Cooke Look."

To bring excellent rendering and quality mechanics closer to every artist seeking an efficient and affordable solution for their next film or video projects, we also offered LAOWA Zoom Lenses.

Our F2Studio Sofia Photography School began its regular photography lessons. There, we presented for the first time in Bulgaria the newest camera from RED in the DSMC3 generation - RED V-Raptor [X].

We also now have the world's best battery solutions for cameras, lighting, monitors, and other Anton/Bauer devices – a synonym for supreme quality and the choice of cinematographers worldwide for 10 years!

This year, we expanded our support for your art projects with new rental equipment. We offered various sets – from one to four cameras. We placed them in our F2Studio, where you can use a green screen and every other corner for shooting without worrying about sound and lighting. We continued to help you with rental equipment on location as well.

And some of the projects we supported in 2023 met their audience for the first time this year. Among them is Elenko Kasaliyski's first feature-length documentary about Antarctica, "Beyond the Limit." Filmed with equipment from Dynaphos during the 31st Bulgarian Antarctic expedition, it premiered at Kinomania and later at the Bansko Film Fest.

And because not only confident steps but also amateur attempts are important for growth, we encouraged the authors of the best photographs in three different photo contests. At the beginning of the year, we honored Kremena Dimitrova and Martin Stefanov, and they became winners of the Annual Awards of the Runner's Society for 2023 for photo and video.

We also delighted three participants in the 18th edition of the "Sweetest Kiss" photo contest with awards. Photographer and Canon ambassador for Bulgaria, Dilyana Gergova, who was part of the jury, awarded Stoyan Shopov with a FALCAM Maglink Quick wrist strap with a magnetic buckle, and two reflector discs went to Petya Paligorova and Marina Shivarova.

And with the Veliko Tarnovo festival "48 Hours Varusha South," we organized a photo challenge to capture the events and mood of the program in several categories and awarded: in Art, 1st place went to Tsvetelina Ivanova, 2nd place to Tanya Georgiev, and 3rd place to Iva Petrova. In the Street Category, Marina Chamurkova took the lead, followed by Yavor Kaloyanov, and Veronika Dimitrova was ranked third. The Concert Category awarded 1st place to Ivelina Petkova, 2nd place to Blagovest Ivanov, and 3rd place to Silia Kaneva. The Audience Award was won by Nikolay Kolev. The winners received vouchers for purchases worth: 200 BGN for first place, 100 BGN for second place, and 50 BGN for third place.

Beyond our daily meetings with you in our showroom, we presented you with 70 news stories, discussed 7 of the events we organized, shared 4 product reviews, featured 7 artists in the Photographers section of our blog, and through our YouTube channel, we made you witnesses to stories from a wedding season, a journey to India and back, love through the lens, and Aniventure Comic Con. We also shared experience from shooting extreme photography, light through glass, and props and culinary shot setup. We visually demonstrated the difference in photography with Cooke cinema lenses, and with the kind assistance of Nikolay Pandev and three-time Guinness World Record holder Nikolay Kalaydjiev, we showcased the capabilities of the new Godox AD600PRO II flash.

One of our latest news for 2024 is related to the new trend of iris photography. Dynaphos offers a basic kit for it, and we will tell you more about it soon. What else is coming in the new year?
