Running community handed out its annual awards with the support of Dynaphos
Kremena Dimitrova and Martin Stefanov are the recipients of the Runner's Community Annual Awards for 2023 for photo and video. The awards have been given for the 11th consecutive year and this time include a total of 14 categories – all of them as creative as running enthusiasts.
The "Explosion" award went to Emil Genov. Visually impaired Viktor Asenov won the "Debut for Men" prize for his participation with the help of friends along the course of several mountain ultramarathons. Among women, Sara Minkova took the "Debut" award. Alexander Hristov and Veradina Nacheva were awarded for "Progress". Dimitar Atanasov and Monika Filipova received recognition for "Machine", and 69-year-old Boyan Lefterov and Yuliana Stoyanova for "Veteran". Miroslav Spasov and Detelina Radoslavova became "Fashion Icon". And Georgi Dobrev was distinguished for "Cramp Writer".
"Congratulations to the winners. It was an honor for us! Thank you for being together!", wrote the largest community of amateur runners on Facebook after the ceremony, which gathered them live in a capital city bar on Epiphany.
Four of the 5 jury members also had a name day – Ivan Dimitrov, Ivan Dimitrov, Ivan Gochev, and Vanya Karparova.

An interesting fact is that their owner has completed more marathons than triathlons, but is still a true Ironman", the organizers shared with their friends on Facebook.
As a second interesting fact, they pointed out that our company is one of the few that conducts demonstration and training events for photographers in Bulgaria.
"We at GNBO definitely have an affinity for this visual art because we regularly pose for photographers at various competitions, and if we end up in a promo clip or website, it's a real celebration. Dynaphos Photo & Video, by supporting our photographers, also supports running in Bulgaria", added the running community.
Kremena Dimitrova's awarded photo depicts runner Lili Foteva in flight. And the film awarded in the annual awards is called "To Duskotna and Back" and in it Martin Stefanov tells about Bozhidar Antonov's 15th attempt for the fastest crossing of the legendary "Kom-Emine" route - record holder from 2018 with a time of 4 days 8 hours and 27 minutes. Here's what Martin shared with our blog readers:
"I made the film because I feel the need to be part of this adventure. I would also like to visualize this challenge that Bojo faces so that we can share the emotion with more people through the film. The most difficult part of filming was the filming itself :) In fact, the priority with Pavkata was to assist Bojo. This means a lot of logistics and expedition work 24 hours a day. Filming is secondary in importance. In the rush, I often don't have time for the right settings and composition. Sometimes I just put the camera on a tripod and deal with more important things. Equipment: Sony A7III; Nikon D7500 (only for night timelapses); Drone DJI Air 2s, GoPro 10 black".
