48 Hours Varusha South 2025: Art, Atmosphere, and a Photo Contest with Dynaphos
The "48 Hours Varusha South" festival once again filled the streets of Veliko Tarnovo with energy, art, and inspiration. The fourth edition brought together an audience for over 160 events at more than 60 locations, transforming the neighborhood into an open-air festival stage. The streets of Varusha came alive with music, exhibitions, theater, cinema, workshops, and art installations. The rich program offered visitors experiences for every taste – from outdoor concerts, galleries, and performances, to special activities for the little ones.
This year, we once again stood behind the festival, supporting the organizers and providing equipment to volunteer photographers and financial support to the festival's photographers. For us, it's important for art to be shared and captured in frames that remain after the celebration. This year, the heat couldn't dampen the spirits. The organizers had once again thought of a pleasant place to relax by the river. The Beach became a natural haven for meeting friends, families, and four-legged companions, where the coolness and music created a true summer atmosphere.
As per tradition, the evenings were the liveliest. Festival participants filled the galleries, streets, and open-air stages. There were audio-visual inspiring performances, and special concerts and DJ sets turned the festival into a real celebration. One of the most beloved moments for guests was the traditional closing of the main street on Saturday evening, when it became a pedestrian promenade where thousands of people strolled through the artistic atmosphere.
We from Dynaphos also had representatives on site and managed to capture some moments in frames. Smiles, dances, meetings, and art - it's hard to convey the atmosphere with just photos, so we invite you to see for yourself next year.
This year, the festival once again offers a challenge – a photo contest, organized in partnership with Dynaphos. All interested participants who attended the events can submit their best shots in three categories: concert, art, and street.
Participation is open until 11:59 PM on August 24th. All submitted photos until then will be visible on the festival's Facebook page on August 26th. The winners in each category, announced by a jury, will receive prizes: vouchers worth 200, 100, and 50 BGN, provided by Dynaphos. And from August 26th to August 31st, everyone can vote for their favorite in the online gallery on the festival's website. The audience award is a voucher for 100 BGN.
Winners will be announced on September 2nd.
