С впечатляващо и живо цветопредаване, моделът UB50 разполага с 24,2-мегапикселов пълноформатен MOS сензор и поддържа IP-базирани стандарти за предаване, като NDI® HX2

UB50 е оптимизирана за кинематографична продукция, като осигурява малка дълбочина на рязкост. Моделът разполага с технология за автофокус с разпознаване в реално време, която позволява автоматично идентифициране на обекта и поддържане на фокуса върху него.

Гъвкавостта при инсталация е ключов елемент в дизайна. И двата модела разполагат с компактен корпус с височина, ширина и дълбочина под 10 cm, което позволява монтаж дори в най-тесните пространства. Камерата може да се използва и за ръчно заснемане с Gimbal стабилизатор, осигурявайки по-голяма свобода на операторите.

При свързване с отдалечени камери в същата мрежа, UB50 е напълно съвместима с панела за дистанционно управление Panasonic AK-HRP1010, като в бъдеще се планира поддръжка на AW-RP150GJ и Panasonic live switchers. Камерата може да изпълнява и функцията на tally control.
