Aputure Spotlight Mount Iris

Extend your Aputure Spotlight Mount’s functionality with a compatible removable iris. This accessory lets you make the most of your Bowens mount and lighting modifier set by letting you further manipulate the shape and size of the light output. The mount’s dual slot design lets users attach both the iris and their choice of gobos simultaneously. If you need to achieve a clean and crisp spot effect, a wider illumination beam, or a soft transition from bright to dim, all you need to do is to slowly pull the toggle lever and adjust the iris when inside the Spotlight Mount’s housing. While the Spotlight Mount and its accompanying 19°, 26°, and 36° lenses are made for precision optics, the optional iris will further enhance the quality of your light output. It also produces clean lines with no sign of light and color fallout on the edges. More than that, the swift mechanism allows filmmakers to adapt to the changing lighting needs of a specific scene. The mount, along with the interchangeable lens ecosystem and removable iris, is a must-have in commercial shoots or portrait photography studios.
