The HED-NPF665 battery features a groundbreaking, world-first Auto Capacity Indication (ACI) system. This revolutionary technology automatically displays the battery’s capacity status as soon as it is placed on
the unit—without the need to press any buttons or manually activate the feature. Fully autonomous and self-operational, it provides hands-free convenience for the operator, allowing a quick glance at the battery’s IDL to access essential information instantly.

SMART Low Capacity ALARM (LCA)

Hedbox R&D is excited to introduce a groundbreaking innovation to the worldwide video & photo market: a cutting-edge continuous Smart monitoring alarm designed for low battery capacity. With a pending patent, our IDL Emergency ALARM is engineered to activate when the battery capacity level drops below 10%. It triggers a distinctive and easily visible flashing IDL – Identification Display Led in silent mode (no buzzer). This exclusive feature serves as a prompt for users, signaling that the battery has fallen below the 10% capacity threshold.

USB-C PD3.0 / 20w

The HED-NPF665 battery is enhanced with a USB-C power input, allowing it to be charged directly using any USB-C charger that supports 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A, or 15V/1A (20W). This USB-C port is compatible with a wide range of charging protocols, including PD3.0, QC2.0, QC3.0, PPS, AFC, FCP, SCP, DCP-1.5A, and APPLE-2.4A. This flexible design eliminates the need for a dedicated NPF battery charger, providing users with a convenient and efficient charging solution.

Injection Molded Power Pins

The HED-NPF665 battery incorporates advanced injection molded power pins, providing a secure and highly durable connection for reliable power delivery. This innovative production technology integrates the power pins directly into the battery housing, creating a strong, compact and unbreakable bond 

IDL Control LED Display

The battery is equipped with a dual-color (RED & GREEN) LED control display, providing a clear indication of various battery statuses. When connected to a USB-C port or a standard NPF charger for charging, the LED flashes RED, notifying the user that the battery is actively charging. Once fully charged, the LED switches to a constant GREEN, indicating the battery is ready for use. This feature offers users convenient visual monitoring of the battery’s charging status.

The HED-NPF995 showcases cutting-edge HEDBOX battery technology. Designed in the same size as the standard Sony NPF-970 battery, it boasts an impressive 7800 mAh capacity, that is 30% higher energy density than the original. Despite the increased capacity, the battery maintains reliable and safe operation thanks to its advanced Battery Management System (BMS).
