The group form of the course has a number of advantages, for example when working in a group each student sees and is aware of both the good shots and the mistakes of the other group members, a large amount of photographs are commented on which increases the visual culture of the participants, and it is much more fun.
What skills and knowledge will the trainees acquire during the course?
On the Introduction to Photography course, learners will learn the basics of the photographic process and work with their own camera to improve their photographic skills. During the course we will make a connection between the basic photographic concepts of aperture, shutter speed and ISO and relate these to light metering and correct exposure. We will look at the various reasons our photos look blurry and low quality and learn how to overcome these problems. We'll lay the groundwork for composition and properly balancing photographs.
